New Bots Appearing Offline
We are aware that new bots are not coming online immediately after signing up on the site. We made an unexpected appearance on the Digg home page yesterday into today and are working to get your new bots online as quickly as possible. Under normal load they’d be online right away. Please look here for an announcement when things are back to normal and thank you for trying us out!
UPDATE:
We’ve turned a number of bots on. If your bot is not one of them, hang on, we’re working on it.

I’m using own domain. This bot still not accept my invitation. Why? Only support Gmail domain?

Yup, another casualty. We weren’t expecting this. Actually getting ready to release V2 in the next couple days! While we’re trying to recover, we’re working on putting things in place to make sure this doesn’t happen again. To top it all off, one of the 3 founders here is on a plane heading back from Druplacon (in Hungary) : o

Hey guys, not stoking the fire, just an update if you were wondering I know your on top of it : My bot went up for about a half hour and back down.

@Abdullah If you signed up earlier than yesterday, your bot should be online now. We’re bringing on news ones as we add more capacity.

My bot is still offline (I made it two days ago) ; except if I didn’t understand, but when I add aymeric[@]bot.im in MSN, nothing happens and it’s still offline…..

Jarod, you cannot access your bot through MSN. It is a Gtalk/Jabber screen name that you can add to your buddy list on Gtalk or any other Jabber network.
Attaching screen names from other networks in coming very soon.

All bots should now be online. We’ve upgraded our infrastructure, added 6 new servers, and rewrote some code to handle the additional traffic.

is there any way in which i can edit the settings of the bot ie help and privacy text .. or do i have to delete and create the bot again

@shivani you can edit your bot settings at any time in the admin. Just click your bots name under my account and then click settings
