Receive Your Twitter Notifications Through IMified
It appears the Twitter IM bots are still down, but have no fear, we just added support for notification updates to go along with the release of status updating last week. What can I say, we’re opportunists!
If you’ve already setup twitter as an IMified service you’ll now see the menu option “Toggle Notifications”. Selecting this option will turn on and off notifications. You might also want to create a couple shortcuts for posting to twitter and toggling notifications for super fast twittering.
Enjoy

I’m seeing the posts from twitter 2 times. not sure if it’s because I’m logged in at multiple locations or not.

I only seem to be getting notifications through imified@gmail.com, rather than imified2@gmail.com. Can we use imified now instead of imified2?

Great - is it possoble to see how the notification is implemented? I’d like to have implement a notification for new comments on my blog. That would be so great

The notification function has not been working for some time now… I think Twitter’s API changed, but not the twitter widget…
Any plans to fix this soon or should we use another solution?
Thanx!
