“Shortcuts” Update
We noticed a fundamental flaw in the “shortcuts” feature and were forced to do a little reengineering. We’ve added a “/” to all of your shortcuts and require a “/” for any new ones added. If you forget about the slash when adding, don’t worry, we’ll pop it in there for ya. Sorry if this causes any inconvenience.
Thanks to everyone for sending in your feedback and suggestions. Please keep em coming on the forum

Shouldn’t be a problem for some us CML users. Takes me back to a simpler time.

When I’m editing a shortcut I am able to put in a space, but when I’m adding a new one it alerts me that it is not permitted. It’s just something I noticed.
Great service guy, keep up the good work.

IRC commands are prefaced with / (slash). This causes a conflict in at least one multi-network chat software. I’m using Gaim 2.0 in Ubuntu Linux (edgy) and whenever I issue an Imified shortcut (/gcal for instance) Gaim interprets this as an IRC command and replies “No such command” and does not send the message.

So I can’t seem to get shortcuts to work. Is there something obvious I’m missing? The menu comes up and I type my shortcut and it doesn’t recognize it.
