We are very excited to announce that IMified has been acquired by Voxeo! Voxeo is the leading provider of standards-focused Unified Communications and Self-Service platforms. You can read the announcement here and get the complete FAQ here.

It has been an amazing experience to see IMified grow out of a simple idea to the service it is today, providing thousands of developers with a simple platform for IM enabling applications. IMified now grows from a three person team to over 150! We are delighted to join forces with a company that shares the same ideas and vision for what we want to achieve with IMified. We’re looking forward to bolstering our service and further innovating with Voxeo’s helping hand.

What does this mean for IMified Users? No immediate changes are planned for the service besides providing better and faster support and moving to a more robust infrastructure that will improve performance and increase capacity. As we transition over to our new family, we anticipate implementing some of the enhancements and features we just haven’t had the resources to get to.
