Launched!
4 months, a few bucks, and a couple cases of Redbull later, Imified is finally open!
We hope we’ve put together a fun and useful productivity tool for your bag. We felt it was about time someone took the IM client and made it actually work for you. We’re just getting started and have some really cool features and new applications in the works so stay tuned.
As far as we know, there aren’t any other services out there like us, so we’re gonna need your help in shaping the direction of Imified. Let us know what you’d like to do through your IM client. We’re all ears.
Please forgive us if you stumble across a few bugs while talking to Imified. We’re still in Beta and will be working out the kinks for a bit.
Thanks!
Dave & Anthony

Is it possible to add a reminder in one sentence? Would also be nice to be able to turn off the help text.

I had the same idea a few months ago but didn’t had the time (or the talent
) to do it. I’m glad that someone finally did it !
Thanks!

This is a great tool! Regards to the dev. team! Anyway, better if you could integrate RSS reader to this. We can add RSS feeds and View latest on them when we need.

Best regards for making a great tool. Suggestion : Functionality of adding/ viewing RSS Feeds to imifield would be a great tool that help users to see whats hot on web through their IM.

Congratulations to a really cool service.
But i have one question, is the “v1.0 beta” in the top right of the index page a joke or for real?

Dave and Anthony – This is a great service! I hacked around with a similar idea, but it was beyond my skills. I think this has great potential!

Exciting service.i use gtalk and I have a suggestion.in the start up screen it reads “Have a look at the menu below. We’ve added a few of our own services to get you started. Select ‘My Account’ to add new services as well as shortcuts to your services.” but the ‘my account’ is not a link. You could have added like”type the corresponding number(4) of your rquired service and send,to add new services” .I am a techie and even then i was confused when i see no link with “my account”.This is because this type of ‘via instant messnger” sign-up is rare in the cyberworld.Keep up the good work ! Good to find you. I used IMSmarter for a while and became almost dependent on it. Glad to know you’ve got a similar service.

Sorry, I can’t deal with yet another forum ID.
However:
I can’t add my Backpack page to my imified session. I think it is because I use SSL.
Any chance you could look into that?

Looks like a great service in the making. I was just talking with a friend about how it’s a pain that we can’t really access our Google Calendars from our Sidekicks. A perfect solution? Use the AIM client built into the Sidekick! Thanks guys!

Congrats on your launch guys! I think this service is going to be one of those ‘wow, why did I not think of that’ slice of bread applications.
I am looking forward to using this and seeing where you take this.
Good Luck!

Very nice service! I just tried it out, and I must say that it has been working near flawlessly. Of course, Blogger Beta isn’t supported (I can’t blame you: many services have been scrambling to become compatible with it). Still, 30Boxes works fine for me, and so does Remember the Milk. Very happy to be able to try this service. I’m wondering, however, if–when the New Blogger is supported–if its label system will be compatible.
Looking forward to more news, and the features yet to come.

Thanks for all the kind words and suggestions. Keep em coming!
Sorry, we had posts set to be moderated and well, we’ve been a little busy…

I stumbled across your announcement in the 30boxes developer forum and instantly signed up and love the concept. I did notice that upcoming events from 30B go way back in time. Not entirely sure why and if it’s something I can fix or if it’s 30B or something you can fix. Great start guys, keep it up!
